HCG Questions

I have a quick question about storing HCG after it is mixed.

I received 1 vial of powdered HCG and Bateriostatic water from Kubat. After mixing bacteriostatic water into the HCG vial, can I store that same vial in the fridge? Or, do I need to buy another sterile glass vial for transferring the mixed HCG?

Dr. Google is not helping me with the thousands of HCG diet sites that keep popping up!

I am praying that I can inject myself without worrying too much!

  1. I always just stored that same vial in the fridge, I never transferred it to a different vial, and I never had any problems with it.

  2. It's been awhile since I took HCG, but like Hebrews, we just left the mixed stuff in the same vial and stored it in the fridge. No new vials.

  3. I'm pretty sure you can just store it in the fridge. You can always call the pharmacy to check - they'll tell you for certain. Just make sure if you're mixing it, you took the right dosage. I had a mix-up with that recently, and thought I could store the extra, when it fact, it was too diluted.

  4. You can definitely just store it in the bottle where the HCG is mixed. I've never transferred the new mixture into a new vial.

  5. Yep, you can keep it in the same vial after reconstitution. Best wishes for you! And prayers!

  7. Yup, same vial in the fridge. How are your shots going? I did my first in ages yesterday. Thinking of you!

    1. The shots weren't as bad as I had imagined. Though I hold the syringe in my hand for at least 5 minutes before I get the courage to plunge it!
